Resurrection Catholic Cemetery

Construction has begun on the new mausoleum at Resurrection Cemetery in Ancaster.

The unique architecture of the building's first phase will be the first of its kind for The Catholic Cemeteries. It will feature a large atrium that runs from the foyer to a large one-and-a-half storey window, with a panoramic view of the southern part of the property. The roof will be constructed of translucent glass.

The mausoleum will house 3,800 crypts; and it is anticipated that construction will be complete in winter 2012.
